GTA uses music that's already written. It's an insult to video game composers who work hard to write music for a living to be compared to something that uses a compilation of old 80s music.

This is why they don't include compilation soundtracks in the Academy Awards. Because it's just a collection of stuff that people already wrote a long time ago.

All the other entries are fine because they are original pieces. GTA Vice City, however, is just a playlist. Thi...

uh, if you're going to have GTA music, then you have to include games like Guitar Hero, Rock Band, Dance Dance Revolution...I mean, that Beatles game just came out, why wouldn't that be considered the best pop music ever written in video games?

Sorry, but the article should have been thought out.

I disagree with GTA. It's not an original soundtrack. Anyone can grab the greatest 80s hits and make a compilation of music, but there's no originality...

seriously. besides a sony fanboy clearly wrote the thing. With quotable gems like, "Microsoft will have effectively stolen money from everyone. Congratulations on getting robbed." and "I wanted to lay out my case that Microsoft is clearly over charging for Live and that some of the downloadable content is nothing more then a money grab. That is not to say Sony is innocent with the PSN, but it is easier to forgive them for that."

...but of course, SDF has t...

@play2man exactly.

plus if you think about the revenue they're bringing in with Live, they'll be able to improve on the service year to year. By this time next year, Live will have a vast array of improvements--who knows what they'll bring in next!

The fee is worth Netflix to your TV alone, honestly. (...and no more of that, well just run a cord to your PC crap). The interface was built for living room management and enjoyment and the inclusion of it on Live is a ...

Perhaps you should read the article. He provides proof that it was released for sale by Sony on August 25th, a full WEEK before September 1st.

That update was touted to be a major improvement to the PSN. I'm thinking the money MS is making with Live is being used for future improvements to Live. Since people are still paying for it, MS has a lot of breathing room to successfully integrate outside companies into Live, as they've already demonstrated with Netflix (amazing). The inclusion of Facebook, Twitter, and Last.fm will be great additions as well and will give people only more incentive to use a pay-for-service.
